OBJECTIVES

The primary objective of the Philippine E-Commerce Roadmap (PECR) is for e-commerce to contribute 25% to the country’s GDP by 2020. The PECR identifies five (5) success criteria, which are:

  • Cybercrime enforcement and protection
  • 40-50% of internet users doing e-commerce
  • 100,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises doing e-commerce
  • Fast and competitive internet access
  • Online and connected government (G2G, G2B, G2C, G2E)
