DTI widens reach to consumers through television
The Department of Trade and Industry’s Consumer Protection Group (DTI-CPG) forged partnerships with the three top television networks to air its infomercials on exercising consumers’ rights and on sending Balikbayan boxes for the general public’s welfare.
The infomercial on Consumer Rights is a 30-seconder television material that has a question and answer format on the usual instances of consumers concerning their purchase transactions. On the other hand, the infomercial on Balikbayan Boxes is a 15-seconder TV material showing a Filipino family with a father who is an overseas worker; the father properly sends a Balikbayan box home to his family that contains products for their personal use.
