What are the requirements for importing motor vehicle and motorcycle replacement parts under MAAB#43?
  • Properly filled-up notarized application form  
  • Original Proforma Invoice
  • In appropriate cases, applicant may be required to submit brochure or any pertinent literature to describe the spare parts to be imported.
  • Processing fee of P300 per application
What are the replacement parts (brand new or used) regulated by the BIS under Central Bank (CB) Circular 1389? [Parts and accessories of the vehicles under *Group 781 only]
  • Dashboards
  • Doors
  • Fenders
  • Floor boards
  • Grille
  • Hood
  • Luggage compartments
  • Luggage racks (exterior)
  • Plate brackets      
  • Running boards   
  • Radiator cowlings  
  • Trunk/trunk lids      
  • Visors 
  • Wings                       
  • Mudguards
  • Floor mats (other than of textile material/rubber)

  • All used parts except engine are not allowed for importation
  • Saddles of motorcycle
  • Other parts of motorcycle (excluding rubber tires, engines, electrical parts, completely knock-down parts, and storage batteries):
          o Brakes of all kinds
          o Clutches
          o Forks and parts thereof
          o Fuel tanks
          o Gearing and gear boxes
          o Stands wheel and parts thereof (hubs, rims, spokes, etc.)
          o Handle bars
          o Handle bar grips
          o Kick starters
          o Levers
          o Luggage rack
          o Mudguards
          o Shock absorbers
          o Transmission and parts thereof
          o Side car parts

*Philippine Standard Commodity Code (PSCC) Group 781 is composed of motor car and other motor vehicles principally designed for the transport of persons (other than public transport type vehicles), including station wagons and racing cars.

Importation of motor vehicle parts NOT for replacement purposes are not allowed.
