The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quirino Provincial Office spearheaded the conduct of the Agro-OTOP (One Town One Product) Trade Fair and Exhibits on September 5-10, 2016 at the Capitol Grounds, Cabarroguis, Quirino.

The weeklong activity highlights the Panagdadapun Festival 2016 in celebration of the 45th Founding anniversary of the province.

About 56 SME exhibitors participated in the Fair and generated a total sales amounting to Php. 675,000.00

The trade fair was organized by DTI in partnership with the LGUs to support the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Quirino.

The event served as a platform for the local producers and manufacturers to showcase their products and widen their network. It aims to encourage the people in the community to patronize locally produced products to boost entrepreneurship in the province.

The opening ceremony was headed by Hon. Governor Junie E. Cua, assisted by DA-Regional Technical Director Orlando Lorenzana, DTI Quirino OIC PD Ma. Sofia G. Narag and other local officials.

Products sold included those developed under the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Projects such as fruit wine & vinegar, ginger tea, veggie ice cream, veggie chips, veggie noodles, crunchy corn, tilanggit, native cakes, muscovado sugar, coffee, ethnic wearables, pandan bayong, fossilized flowers and furnitures.

Other products featured were fresh fruits and vegetables, furniture and home furnishing, fashion accessories, gift items and ornamental plants.
