23rd ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM) Retreat

Founded in 2011 in Indonesia, the 5th ASEAN-EU Business Summit will be held in Manila on 10 March 2017. It is designed to be a platform for business leaders, thought-leaders and policy makers to interact and debate the key business and trade issues of the day. With 2017 marking the 50th Anniversary of the ASEAN and the 40th Anniversary of official EU-ASEAN relations and dialogues, this is a strategically important year especially with the EU-Philippine FTA negotiations underway.
The EU-Philippines Business Network (EPBN) is organising a Business Mission to the 5th ASEAN-EU Business Summit. Over 300 delegates are expected to attend the 2017 ASEAN-EU Business Summit and Business Mission. It will also take place in parallel to the ASEAN Economic Ministers Meeting and the EU-ASEAN dialogue session between Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström and her ASEAN counterparts.
WORLDBEX or The Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition is the most attended construction exposition in Asia – with over 500 exhibitors and more than 150, 000 visitors a year.
The EU-Philippines Business Network (EPBN), in cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ICCPI), is organizing a business mission to this year's WORLDBEX 2017. Activities will include a five-day business exhibition in the European Pavilion, a networking cocktail, and some tailored B2B meetings.
In line with the celebrations for the International Women's Month in March, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) together with the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs’ Network (AWEN) will bring together women from ASEAN member states for a conference focused on Technology and Innovation.
Delegates and speakers from the various ASEAN countries with representatives from various technology-driven enterprises are expected to be at the two-day event to give women more ideas about opportunities in careers centered on Technology and Innovation.

ASEAN Creative Cities Forum and Exhibition

The IFEX Philippines: Asia’s Ethnic Food and Ingredients Show is the country’s biggest international trade exhibition for food products. It features specialty food, processed tropical fruits, vegetables, seafood, beverages, bakery and confectionery products, meat and poultry, Halal-certified products, as well as natural, organic, and healthy options.
The 11th edition of the exhibition will take place on 19-21 May 2017 at the World Trade Center (WTC) and the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. There are 770 exhibitors expected to occupy a total of 16,000 sqm exhibition space, and around 2,200 buyers from all over the world.
