MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISE (MSME) DEVELOPMENT GROUP
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Development Group (MDG) is headed by Undersecretary Ma. Cristina A. Roque.
Within the MDG are the following Officials and their respective Offices:

Comprehensive Agrarian Reform – National Program Office (CARP-NPO))
Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development (BSMED)
Initiates and implements programs and projects addressing the specific needs of MSMEs in the areas of technology development and transfer, financing, marketing, and training. The BSMED is mandated to promote and develop MSMEs in the country, and is also tasked to review and formulate policies and strategies geared towards the advancement of MSMEs in the areas of entrepreneurship development, institutional strengthening, and productivity improvement.
DTI-Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Management Office (DTI-CARP-PMO)
Supervises a package of micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) development programs and projects intended to aid DTI-CARP-PMO beneficiaries. Particularly, it assists cooperatives/associations of farmers, landowners, women, and youths, who are capable of managing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Bureau of Market Development ,Promotions, and OTOP (BMDPO)
Mandated to promote the efficient marketing of local products and services through the conduct of marketing events, such as trade fairs, in-store displays, exhibits, and local trade missions; expand and strengthen linkages among MSMEs through information exchange and business matching activities; and create awareness of domestic marketing opportunities for new projects, technologies, and investments. The Bureau also maintains a domestic market database of local raw materials suppliers, local semi-processed products suppliers, local finished products suppliers, and buyers (institutional and big buyers).
