The public is hereby warned that base@cavdeal.com and support@dti.ciap.gov.ph are bogus email addresses. The seminars/trainings and application forms attached and advertised using the abovementioned e-mails are not authorized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) and the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB).
Likewise, purported Board Resolution No. 434, Series of 2017 which was shown to be issued by the PCAB on 18 January 2017, requiring the mandatory Training/Seminar for CFY 2017-2018 and CFY 2018-2019 or the “Completion of Five Days Seminar Course for Standardization of Management and Impletion (sic) of ISO 9001-2015 as a pre-requisite requirement to filing(sic) of Application for New Contractor’s License” does not exist.
Further, another publication/email from a certain Mrs. Rosario Dionicio, who claims to be the Officer-In-Charge of CIAP, is not in any way connected with CIAP. Any transaction entered into by Mrs. Rosario Dionicio for and in behalf of DTI, CIAP and PCAB will not be honored by the afore-stated agencies.
The CIAP and PCAB are headed by Atty. Ruth B. Castelo, Undersecretary for CIAP, and Atty. Alejandria G. Gomez, Acting Executive Director, respectively.
Contractors are advised to exercise caution and verify from CIAP or PCAB before taking action regarding compliance with application requirements stated in various publications/advertisements and emails.
