Event: The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through its Consumer Protection Group (CPG) continues its strengthened market monitoring activities on the price and supply of basic necessities and prime commodities. In addition, the DTI-CPG conducts special enforcement activities on Fair Trade Laws to check if specific critical construction materials, electrical products and appliances are compliant with the requirements of the Philippine National Standards (PNS).
