The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to conduct a Public Consultation on the proposed Department Administrative Order (DAO) on the Revised Rules and Regulations Implementing the Business Name Law to be held on the following dates and venues:

• September 6, 2017 – Berjaya Makati Hotel, 7835 Makati Ave. corner Eduque St., Makati City
• September 14, 2017 – Marco Polo Hotel, Cebu Veterans Drive, Nivel Hills, Apas, Cebu City
• September 19, 2017 – The Pinnacle Hotel and Suites, Sta. Ana Ave., Davao City

The said DAO aims to further streamline and simplify procedures on business name registration to make our frontline service truly efficient and business-friendly. The draft DAO may be downloaded from the DTI (www.dti.gov.ph) and PBR (www.business.gov.ph) websites.
