The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through the Negosyo Center of Tiaong, successfully awarded the livelihood Negosyo Kits to twenty-two (22) beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program at Puregold Tiaong last December 23. Two (2) owners of a computer shop were awarded at the SM, Lucena City, together with the other four (4) PPG beneficiaries from Sampaloc and Dolores, Quezon, on December 14, and an owner of a salon was awarded at the Negosyo Center Tiaong Office on November 18, 2022.
The Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program is a livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program of DTI that provides assistance to micro-enterprises that were affected by natural calamities such as flash floods, typhoons, and other calamities, including health disasters like a pandemic.
The twenty-five (25) beneficiaries from different barangays of Tiaong, Quezon, together with the beneficiaries from Sampaloc and Dolores, Quezon, were oriented and assisted by the PPG staff and Negosyo Center Business Counselors from Candelaria, Dolores, and San Antonio in purchasing items worth Php 8,000 that can aid in restoring and improving their businesses. ♦
