On 26 June 2022, DTI 12 received the GAD Seal certification award making the agency one of the pioneering batch of government agencies awarded. 

This was realized after the Regional Assessment Committee (RAC) together with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretariat conducted the Gender and Development (GAD) Seal Certification Audit of the DTI 12 Regional Office at the Prime Regional Government Center, Barangay Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City on 15 June 2022.

As one of the agencies that signified interest in upholding the tenets of the Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) 12, DTI 12 Regional Director (RD) Jude Constantine S. Jaugan is determined to make the DTI Regional Office 12 a Gender and Development Zone. ♦
