The Department of Trade and Industry-Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (DTI-BDTP) will be holding its 2nd Bagsakan within Carmelray Industrial Park on 15-17 July at The Junction, Wisdom Avenue corner Knowledge Avenue in Calamba City, Laguna. The initiative will showcase all-Filipino products from various provinces as well as fresh produce from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Through the coordination with the DTI Regional Operations Group and in partnership with The Carmelray Industrial Corporation, the Bagsakan event will benefit the MSMEs from Laguna, Batangas, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Sorsogon, and NCR. It will also feature fresh vegetables, fruits and upland crops of farmer cooperatives and MSME beneficiaries from CAR under the Integrated Natural Resources and Environmental Management – Livelihood Enhancement Support 2 (INREMP-LES 2). The INREMP is led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and is funded by the Asian Development Bank. Through one of DTI’s e-commerce platforms, Mayani.ph, buyers can order a fruit basket for ₱299 that includes a small pineapple, 12-15 pieces of saging na saba, a medium-sized papaya, ½ kilo of avocado, ½ kilo of kinalabaw mangoes, a melon, and ¼ kilo of lemons. Mayani accepts pre-orders until 14 July 12 noon at  https://mayani.ph/pages/nff. Confirmed orders will be delivered to NCR, Laguna, Rizal and Cavite customers on 17 July. Buyers may also pick up their goods during the Bagsakan event on 17 July at The Junction.

Laguna MSMEs: Beadiday Beadshop, Blue Macay Food Manufacturing Corporation, Cocoplus Aquarian Development Corporation, Da Buenas Handicraft, Jhaz Footwear, Kitchen Angels, Monedo Footwear, and NYMS Footwear will bring their food products, coconut products, handicrafts, and footwear.

Batangas MSMEs namely, Magpantay Home Made Candy, Mira’s Turmeric Products, Rambelle Food Products, and St. Magdalene Handicrafts will be selling candy, turmeric powder, peanut butter, and assorted handicrafts such as aprons, bags, and planters. Alion SEA, Kapit Bisig Association, Amanda’s Marine Products, Beakris House of Goodies, Gloria’s Delicacies, Magpoc’s Araro Cookies, Ruthy’s Food Products, Terio’s Food Products, Tess Enterprise, and Willy’s Cashew Nuts will be bringing their various food, condiments, snacks, and home items from Bataan. While the Orihinal na Magbabasket ng Nueva Ecija (OMNE) will be selling their planters, bayong, and other baskets.

Cerra Furniture from Sorsogon will sell furniture for homes or retail spaces. From the NCR, Diana Stalder by Dermaline, Moonlight Handicrafts, and Pangalatok’s Enterprises will showcase their skincare, handicrafts, and Filipino food favorites as well. DTI’s Go Lokal!, the market incubation platform for MSMEs, will also sell food and non-food products at the event.
