The Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (DTI – BDTP) will showcase the finest products of Isabela Province in the upcoming DTI Bagsakan on July 28- 29, 2022 at the Ground Floor, Trade and Industry Building, Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City.

In coordination with the DTI Region 2, this two-day selling and order-taking event will proudly feature local farmers and manufacturers offering a rich selection of farm fresh produce, authentic delicacies, processed goods, unique fashion items and wearables, handwoven products and home decor all the way from the cities and municipalities of Isabela namely Aurora, Burgos, Cauayan, Ilagan, Quezon, Quirino, Roxas, San Manuel, and Santiago. In partnership with the

farm-to-table e-commerce platform Mayani.ph, this Grand Bagsakan will be available online (www.mayani.ph/) for pre-orders of vegetables and fruits, digital payment, easy home delivery services, as well as on-site pick up of orders.

Isabela, dubbed as the “Queen Province of the Philippines” named after Queen Isabela II of Spain, is known as the country’s second largest province with thriving agriculture and breathtaking natural park and flourishing farms.

Buyers, resellers and consumers from the NCR are highly encouraged to visit the Bagsakan event and show their support for the featured farm groups, social cooperatives and enterprises from Isabela. Among the exhibitors are the Caviteno Isabelino Agriculture Cooperative, Diamantina Samahang Nayon, San Pablo ARB Balik Loob, RNR Food Product, Angadanan Forest Region Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Andrea’s Paper Beads, Banjjes Food Products, Buenavista Indigenous People Organization, C.E.’s Food Products, Dales Coffee, EJ Contreras Food Products, Francing Moriecos, HJ Guieb Farms, Indigenous Enabel Craft, Karigo Corn Husk Fashion and Accessories, KMK Food Products, Maico’s Store, Nicolas Integrated Farms, Three K Talahib, Rmeaz Food Products, Quelly’s Food products, RIDA Rattan Crafts Manufacturing, and San Agustin Dairy Cooperative (SADACO).

Also joining this Bagsakan event are the MSMEs from Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Sorsogon, Cebu and the NCR, namely LuckyGemsBiz General Merchandise, Harito Food Products, Switsis Food Products, Blue Macay Food Manufacturing Corp., Cerra Furniture and Home Décor, JER Shellcraft, Papaping’s Baked Boneless Bangus, Sanja’s Delicacies, JMU Belt Collection, Marc Daniel’s Food Products, Moonlight Handicrafts, Sol’s Italian Food,  and the Stalder Group of Companies, that will also offer food and non-food products. As reminder to visitors, health and safety protocols like wearing of face masks and social distancing will be strictly implemented.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the Bagsakan Special Project was organized by the DTI-BDTP as a crisis-response initiative to help ensure the supply of food and essential products for consumers while helping farmers, fruit growers, social cooperatives and MSMEs sell their products to generate income amid the pandemic.
