On 18 July 2022, the DTI-General Santos City Satellite Office, in partnership with Notre Dame of Dadiangas University through its internship program for their architecture and engineering students, facilitated the development of the proposed perspective, site development plan, and processing plant floorplan for Don Ricardo’s Chocolate Village to be situated at Barangay Tambler, General Santos City.

The Chocolate Village will have a theme park to promote the local cacao industry of the region. This will include a chocolate factory, activity and seating areas, restaurant and cafe, souvenir shops, function rooms and cabins where visitors can view Mt. Matutum and Sarangani Bay. ♦
