Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Misamis Oriental opened on December 19, 2022 the Coconut Farmers & Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) Trade Fair Christmas Edition with Market, Investment, and Technology Forum.

CFIDP aims to increase the income and productivity of coconut farmers, promote poverty alleviation, education, and social equity, and rehabilitate and modernize the Philippine coconut industry.

It is a program that involves different government agencies, with DTI implementing the plans and programs under research, marketing, and promotion for coconut MSMEs.

The trade fair exhibition and product exposition feature various MSMEs that produce the Philippine’s natural, organic, and high-value coconut products.

The trade fair runs from December 19 to 27, 2022 at Limketkai Rotunda Activity Center, Cagayan de Oro City. *
