TAGKAWAYAN, QUEZON — DTI Negosyo Center Tagkawayan participated in the conduct of the Business One-Stop Shop organized by the Local Government Unit of Tagkawayan, spearheaded by their Municipal Mayor, Hon. Luis Oscar T. Eleazar, and Business Permit and Licensing Officer (BPLO), Ms. Leah S. Gadapan. B.O.S.S. is a yearly convention of different agencies whose functions are to provide services to the business industry. The said agencies, local or even national, were convened at one site or location for the operation of the Business Permit and Licensing System in relation to the implementation of Republic Act 11032, also known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.” Negosyo Center Tagkawayan Business Counselor Ms. Riezl Jane B. Hernandez was seen on duty providing various services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the municipality.

During B.O.S.S., transactions are more convenient because all agencies are related. They will simultaneously assess business permit applications, and each one has backroom personnel that guide customers through their transactions. The Local Government Unit also plotted tarpaulins in conspicuous places, indicating the step-by-step process of acquiring business permits. Prior to the event, they also disseminated flyers to different barangays in the municipality.

In the latter part of the activity, all agencies gathered and conducted a post-activity assessment, and as a result, it turned out that the implementation of B.O.S.S. for this year 2023 was successful. ♦
