TAYABAS, QUEZON — On December 21, 2022, Negosyo Center-Mauban Business Counselor Nicole P. Lleva conducted the profiling and orientation of PPG beneficiaries in the Municipal Hall of Mauban, Quezon as part of the preparation for this year’s awarding of business kits. wherein she explained the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program and taught the MSMEs how to calculate their expenses and income in order to evaluate whether or not their business is profitable.
Then, on January 17, 2023, DTI Quezon, through Negosyo Center Mauban, awarded the business kits to the selected twenty-one (21) beneficiaries, composed of 15 sari-sari stores and 6 bakeries under the PPG Program. They are from various barangays in Mauban, endorsed by the Local Government Unit (LGU) under the leadership of Mayor Ninong Erwin Pastrana. The PPG is a DTI program that aims to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in recovering from devastating experiences caused by various calamities, most recently the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before the 15 sari-sari store beneficiaries personally purchased what they needed for their businesses, NCBC Nicole P. Lleva gave a quick reminder of the dos and don’ts while shopping. On the other hand, the 6 bakeries picked up the business kits at Savemore, Tayabas City.
Thanks to the help and guidance of PPG staff and the business counselors, the awarding was successful. Here are some heartfelt words of thanks from one of the recipients.”Isa po ako sa mapalad na napili bilang beneficiary Ng DTI PPG. Sa isang solo parent na kagaya ko napaka laking tulong at biyaya na aking natanggap mula po sa inyo upang madagdagan ko ang aking munting kabuhayan.” ♦
