LUCBAN, QUEZON — To streamline the application and renewal of business permits and licenses, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lucban carried out its annual Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) on January 3, 2023. The venue of this activity is located at the Benito Pilar Yao Hall, Municipal Bldg., Barangay 8 (Población), Lucban, Quezon.
This one-stop shop was initiated by the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) in partnership with local offices and national agencies, which are: the Municipal Tourism Office, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC), Rural Health Unit (RHU), Municipal Engineering Office, the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), and the Municipal Treasurer’s Office. There are designated tables for each in order to facilitate their respective services.
Negosyo Center (NC) Lucban provides the services of Business Name Registration, Business Counseling, Business Advocacy, and Issuance of Barangay Micro Business Enterprises Certificate of Authority.
To date, there are more than a hundred new and renewed business names registered in NC Lucban, and it is anticipated to process more since this one-stop shop is extended until February 28, 2023. ♦
