TAYABAS, QUEZON — As part of DTI Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG), Negosyo kits were distributed to chosen MSMEs beneficiaries from different barangays of Tayabas City, Quezon. It was held on January 17, 2023, at Savemore Tayabas City, Quezon.

By filling out the attendance form, the beneficiaries registered for the activity. The beneficiaries were told about some points to remember while buying their Negosyo kits. Ms. Marianne A. Adornado, Mr. John Mark Ricaro, Mr. Marc Lester Ibañez PPG-Staff, Ms. Nicole P. Lleva, Negosyo Center Business Counselor (NCBC) Mauban, Ms. Rowena P. Magtibay, NCBC Sampaloc, and Ms. Jon Emilou M. Encomienda, NCBC Tayabas City assisted them.

After selecting what to buy for their business, the beneficiaries stood in line at the counter and received their cash cards. A photo opportunity followed.

NCBC Encomienda gave thanks to all beneficiaries for their participation in the program. Beneficiaries were taken to the City Public Market trading post for a courtesy call with the Hon. Lourdes Reynoso-Pontioso, city mayor. The program started with a prayer and a message from Hon. Elsa Labrada-Rubio, Tayabas City Councilor. followed by Mayor Maria Lourdes Reynoso-Pontioso as she gave her encouragement message to the beneficiaries and expressed her appreciation for the program of DTI-Quezon through Negosyo Center Tayabas. The ceremony ended with closing remarks from Ms. Mary Lou Montoya, CEDIPO-designate from the Office of the City Mayor. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to DTI Quezon and Negosyo Center Tayabas City.

The overall impression of the program was very satisfactory. The beneficiaries returned to their businesses with their Negosyo kits. ♦
