The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Quezon Provincial Office, in partnership with Lucena Grand Central Inc. and Quezon MSMEs, successfully opened the Kalakal Quezon featuring Flavors of Quezon Store at LGCTI Bldg., Ilayang Dupay, Lucena City, on January 30, 2023.

Flavors of Quezon is a one-stop shop wherein products of DTI-assisted MSMEs will be showcased and sold (food and non-food products, including fresh farm produce).

The store opening was formally opened with a blessing led by Fr. Ramil Esplana, followed by the opening remarks given by Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa. Messages of support were given by Mr. Willard Felix Caña, LGCTI Representative; Atty. Euclides G. Forbes, Chairman of the Board / President of Sentrong Pamilihan ng Produktong Agrikultura sa Quezon / Consultant – Office of the City Mayor; and lastly, Ma. Leonelie Dimalaluan, Assistant Provincial Agriculturist, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist – Quezon. Ms. Glazel Capa of KXC Enterprises and Ms. Mailyn Villasin of VJMR Food Products gave their message of acceptance, which was followed by the closing message from CTIDS Anna Marie V. Quincina, as she encouraged all government offices in Lucena Grand Central Terminal Building to patronize the store.

The store was supported by thirty (30) Quezon MSMEs as suppliers. ♦
