The Department of Trade and Industry Quezon, through the Negosyo Center Candelaria, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Candelaria, spearheaded the distribution of livelihood kits to the 33 identified beneficiaries, fourteen (14) under the Livelihood Seeding Program (Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay) and nineteen (19) under the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Program in Candelaria on November 15, 2022.

Hon. George D. Suayan, Mayor of the Municipality of Candelaria, graced and witnessed the ceremonial awarding of livelihood kits at ABC Hall, Municipal Building. In his message, he expressed gratitude to DTI for helping the local entrepreneurs in Candelaria. He also challenged the beneficiaries to grow the livelihood kits they would receive.

Each beneficiary received Php 8,000 worth of gift cards, which they used to purchase their livelihood kits at Puregold Candelaria.

The LSP—NSB and PPG is a program of DTI that is intended to provide support to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) affected by natural and human-induced calamities and those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. *
