TANAY, RIZAL – Information Caravan on Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act was successfully conducted last Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Ynares Covered Court of Brgy. Katipunan Bayani in Tanay, Rizal.

It was attended by farmer-representatives from the Province of Rizal particularly from Antipolo City, Municipalities of Jalajala and Tanay. Also present were representatives from different implementing agencies of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) including Department of Agriculture National Dairy Authority, Bureau of Animal Industry, Department of Agriculture-High Value Crops Development, Philippine Center for Post-Harvest Development and Mechanization, Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Public Works and Highways, Commission on Higher Education, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Cooperative Development Authority, Department of Science and Technology, Development Bank of the Philippines, Lank Bank of the Philippines, The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, and Philippine Coconut Authority as the lead implementor.

Mayor Rafael A. Tanjuatco of Tanay, Rizal welcomed everyone while Province of Rizal Governor Nina Ricci A. Ynares rendered words of wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration for the coconut farmers being the beneficiaries of the program. The program was also highlighted by the different roles and programs each implementor will be during the implementation of the CFIDP. Queries and concerns by the farmers were also addressed during the program. ♦
