MAUBAN, QUEZON — This year, the renewal and new application of the business permit started on January 3, 2023. Every year, each Business Permit Licensing office and the regulatory offices from several LGUs convene in one location to perform a yearly Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS). However, the LGU Mauban has been conducting a year-round BOSS since 2021. This is in line with the government’s mandate for ease of doing business and efficient delivery of government services. Through the Business One Stop Shop, the government can provide services to clients and aid in reducing the time and effort required for permit processing.
One of the offices that participate in this year’s Business One Stop Shop is the Negosyo Center – Mauban, where Business Counselor Nicole P. Lleva offers clients DTI programs and services, including but not limited to business name registration for new and renewal, barangay microbusiness enterprise (BMBE) registration, and business consultancy.
Due to the continued increase in the number of people renewing and applying for new business permit applications to date, the LGU Mauban has decided to extend the time for payment of taxes without surcharge or penalties until January 31, 2023, through SB Resolution No. 013-2023.
Once more, all business owners, whether small or large, are encouraged to renew their Business Permit before the said extended deadline to avoid such fines. ♦
