Bay, Laguna — The Negosyo Center Bay of the Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna) conducted a webinar entitled “Business Management: Business Practices in Times of Pandemic” via an online platform held last September 17.

A total of 39 existing and potential micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) attended the webinar. This aims to educate the people especially those entrepreneurs doing online business/marketing on the different business practices that they can rely in times of pandemic.

One of DTI-Laguna’s clients-turned-mentors Mr. Joel Galit from EasyBiz Informàtion Technology Consultancy Services served as the Resource Speaker for this event. EasyBiz Informàtion Technology Consultancy Services is an Information Technology company that provides clients and business start-ups with solutions and alternative strategies to cope up and avail technology to support grow in their businesses.

Galit first discussed business practices in times of pandemic then proceeded to the six guidelines to follow on how to stay positive, seven habits of successful people, business practices to adopt the “new normal”, and how to apply the big “C”. A workshop on “Be the Best You Can Be” was facilitated afterwards.

The webinar ended with a group photo as Galit shared to the participants his contact information for further consultancy sessions and services. This activity is part of the SME Roving Academy (SMERA), a continuous learning program led by the Department of Trade and Industry for the development of MSMEs to become competitive in the domestic and international markets. ♦
