The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal Provincial Office has awarded five Sari-Sari Store Livelihood Kits to five beneficiaries in Cainta, Rizal. These beneficiaries, who are owners of small businesses affected by the 2019 fire incident.  As part of rehabilitation efforts in bringing back to life business activities in Cainta ravaged by this man-made disaster thru the DTI Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (DTI-PPG), P5,000 worth of groceries and two sacks of rice are awarded last 25 September 2020 during the simple awarding ceremony at the Cainta Municipal Lobby, Municipal Building, Cainta, Rizal. 

Gracing the ceremony are Mr. Don Mallari-SB Secretary, Cainta Municipal Office; Mr. Digi Antonio-Head Cainta CADAC Office; Ms. Aileen Enriquez-OIC Cainta BPLO Office; and Ms. Mercedes A. Parreño-Provincial Director DTI Rizal Provincial Office and her team.

PD Parreño with her inspirational message reminded the beneficiaries that aside from Ayudang Kaalaman thru Business Consultancy with Negosyo Cainta, this Ayudang Kabuhayan will grow and thrive to help the families and the community as well. She also reiterated that DTI continues to assist micro entrepreneurs to improve their business thru webinars accessible via social media. Representatives from the Local Government of Cainta, Mr. Mallari and Mr. Antonio expressed their gratitude for this assistance to their constituents.

One of the beneficiaries, Rolly Castillo was grateful for this assistance that will continue to help his family revive their sari-sari store. “Maraming salamat po sa DTI na nagbigay sa amin ng negosyo kits”, said Castillo. He added that this livelihood kit will assist them as they cope with the effects of the fire incident and the pandemic. ♦
