Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) – Seoul Commercial Counsellor Jose Ma. Dinsay, DTI-EMB Assistant Director Agnes Legaspi (center), Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC,) and Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCCI) officers met with KOIMA officers during the coordination meeting for the KOIMA Business Mission 2019.

The Korean Importers Association (KOIMA) will visit the Philippines for a Buying Mission in time for the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations of the Philippines and South Korea. A pre-arranged business matching event for the Korean buyers will be organized by the Department of Trade and Industry – Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB) on 11 July 2019, 1:30 – 4:30 PM at Conrad Hotel, Pasay City.

KOIMA is the only Korean private organization exclusively dedicated to facilitating imports into the country to develop its industry. KOIMA’s 8,500 members are specialists in their respective business fields. The association endeavors to advance and promote its members’ interest and performs various activities which contribute to the improvement of trade relations with other countries.

The mission is expected to have a 150-member delegation representing 60 Korean companies with business interest in the following sectors: (1) Food and Agriculture (2) Electronics (3) Chemicals (4) Automotive and Machineries (5) Furniture and Wearables (6) Minerals, and (7) Services.
