DTI Laguna conducting LSP-NSB profiling

SANTA MARIA, LAGUNA – As part of the preparation for the roll-out of 2021 Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) in Santa Maria, Laguna, the Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna), through the Negosyo Center Santa Maria, in cooperation with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Santa Maria, conducted profiling and interview to potential beneficiaries in the upland barangays, Pao-o and Juan Santiago, on 14 May 2021.

Negosyo Center Business Counsellor Joemarie C. Valizado and LGU Livelihood Program Coordinator Mario G. Palicpic, Jr. first visited Brgy. Pao-o and interviewed eight business owners affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; five of them have not received grants from the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).  Afterward, Valizado and Palicpic went to Brgy. Juan Santiago and received twelve profile forms; seven business owners were interviewed and six of them have not received grants from the SAP as well. Those who were not able to come will be interviewed through phone calls. 

Three more barangays will be visited for an interview and to validate the short-listed micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to determine their eligibility in receiving the livelihood kits.♦
