VICTORIA, LAGUNA— In its effort to provide various services to the public and help consumers, entrepreneurs, and the community, the Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna) through the Negosyo Center Victoria (NCV) conducted its 1st Weekly Seminar for month of October. This was held via an online conferencing platform on 16 October 2020.
DTI-Laguna NCV Business Counsellor Portia Sophia M. Cortezano together with Resource Speaker Rogel C. Concensino facilitated a coaching session on pricing and costing cum online marketing and payment platforms with 42 existing and potential micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs.
Concensino discussed the importance of pricing the product or services and how to introduce the product or services to the market. He also tackled the different pricing strategies and examples done by most business owners.
The second part of the discussion was about online transaction. Here, Concensino showed how to create and transact a GCash account and how to use it as he demonstrated how convenient it is to go online and even buy products wherever the customer and seller is. This activity is in line with DTI-Laguna’s aim to continue provide assistance thru the conduct of online coaching sessions and webinars to further development entrepreneurs to become competitive in the domestic and international markets.♦
