PRD Program in Pasay

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Department of Agriculture (DA)’s Presyong Risonable Dapat – Frozen Meat Edition received positive feedback from consumers during the program’s implementation within the National Capital Region.

On 11 September 2021, the DTI and DA organized the PRD Program Frozen Meat Edition Weekend Pop-up Stores from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Pamayanang Diego Silang Covered Court, Barangay Ususan, Taguig City, and from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m at Tramo/Leonardo St., Barangay 61, District 2, Pasay City wherein discounted basic necessities and prime commodities were also made available to the public.

Meanwhile, to ensure that citizens have access to low-cost frozen meat, the Local Government Unit of Taguig agreed to hold bi-monthly weekend pop- up stores in various parts of the city.Consumers can save as much as P100.00/kilo when they purchase meat products under the PRD Program.

 “The DTI assures the public that Weekend Pop-up Stores will continue to be available in your areas despite the implementation of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ),” says DTI Consumer Protection Group Undersecretary Ruth B. Castelo.
