Re-affirming its commitment to provide quality and relevant programs and services, the Small Business Corporation (SB Corp.) has successfully obtained its ISO 9001:2015 certification from TÜV Rheinland last August 29, 2018.
The ISO 9001:2015 certifies quality management and ensures that an organization produces consistent and quality products and services. It also requires constant internal reevaluation of the system, which promotes a continuous improvement process.
The SB Corp. ISO 9001:2015 certification covers frontline services, particularly its lending, and capacity building for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and financial institutions.
ISO Certification is an accreditation conducted by external certification bodies to ensure that an organization performs their inter-related processes with international standards.
The ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS), which helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.
Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. It is the most popular standard in the ISO 9000 series and the only standard in the series to which organizations can certify. ♦
