Nine consumers from Bukidnon bested around 60 official participants across the region and secured their places in the top 13 winners during the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 10’s Online Consumer Quiz 2021 (for ages 19 years old and above).

Jesther Marlou Orong from Valencia, Bukidnon bagged the top prize, winning P5,000. Orong shared during a brief interview after the proclamation of winners that he is planning to give his winning prize to his family as an additional financial support during this time of pandemic.

Joel Bernasor also from Valencia, Bukidnon placed second, winning P3,500; while Romie Ramo from Aloran, Misamis Occidental claimed the third place with P2,500 as prize.

The remaining 10 winners with consolation prizes are Necolle Sario (Bukidnon), Angel Jane Roullo (Iligan City), Yushua Amor Montecillo (Bukidnon), Sophia Marie Cahayag (Bukidnon), Aevee Saramosing (Bukidnon), Lizbeth Jill Palmor (Bukidnon), Mikko Bautista (Cagayan de Oro City), Loreen Tonett Dado (Misamis Occidental), Iara Mae Peñafiel (Bukidnon), and Nikka Marie Gante (Bukidnon).

The Online Consumer Quiz 2021 is one of the activities organized by DTI Region 10 to promote consumer protection and awareness in celebration of Consumer Welfare Month 2021.
