BAGUIO-BENGET — In its pursuit of providing more efficient services to Business Name Registration clients, the DTI Baguio-Benguet Provincial Office recently partnered with GLOBE Business Solutions for the installation of an ECPay Payment Machine at the Provincial Office. The kiosk was formally launched on February 13, 2023, in simple rites, with PD Samuel Gallardo, Ma. Patricia Dela Fuente-Pascual, representatives of Globe Telecom, and Mr. David Charles Guevara of Jesnor Leasing.

 The ECpay Kiosk is the first of its kind among DTI-CAR offices and in other DTI offices in the entire country, as per the ECpay management. This effort and the intensified online campaigns further promote DTI’s thrust towards the digitalization of government services and promoting innovation through private-sector partnerships.

The initiative complements the earlier installation of Self-service Business Name Registration Computers that clients can use, or with the help of a DTI Staff. These service innovations have helped reduce queueing for BN services at the provincial office.
