Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Northern Mindanao awarded “Gold Bagwis” seals to eleven branches of Chams Convenience Store in Cagayan de Oro City.
The eleven Chams branches with upgraded Gold Bagwis seals were in Macasandig, Patag, Kauswagan, Corpus Christi, Nazareth, Camp Evangelista, Puntod, Regatta, City Hall, Elipe, and Barra.
Meanwhile, three new establishments in Region 10 were awarded with the “Silver Bagwis” while nine establishments were able to upgrade their Bagwis Seals from bronze to silver.
The new silver awardees were Wizmaster Computer Sales & Services Corp.-Branch 1 in Iligan City and Chams Convenience Store in Dunlop and NHA branches in Cagayan de Oro City. The nine other silver awardees were Juvel Commercial Auto Services and D&M Enterprises in Bukidnon; Desmark Marketing Inc. in Camiguin; Deco Art Marketing Inc. (Citi Hardware-Acmac), Expressions Stationery Shop, Inc., Ranaw Comm Corp., and Saver-Tech Computer Sales and Services in Lanao del Norte; and Abi Interior Hardware and Centino Convenience Store in Misamis Occidental.
Thirty-two (32) new establishments were also awarded with the Bronze Bagwis: GMD Enteprises Inc., Princemin Corporation, Skygo Marketing Corporation branches in Don Carlos, Kalilangan, Malaybalay, Quezon, and Valencia, and Fiesta Shopping Center Corporation in Bukidnon; Pedro Rodriguez Enterprises Inc. in Camiguin; and Bricolage Philippines, Inc. (Mr. DIY Iligan), Des Appliance Plaza, Inc. branches in Iligan City and Tubod, Envy Me Salon and Spa, Iligan JE Expression Salon and Spa, Mach and Tech Machine & Engineering Works, Gallant-Asia Car Clinic Corporation (MOTECH-Iligan), Surban Machine Shop, and Wizmaster Computer Sales & Services Corp. Branch 2 and 3 in Lanao del Norte.
Bronze Bagwis awardees in Misamis Occidental were Vic Imperial Applicane Corporation (Imperial Appliance Plaza), Esprutingkle Retail Stores Corporation (7Eleven-Oroquieta Branch, 7Eleven-Catadman-Manabay Ozamiz City Branch, and 7Eleven Tangub Branch), Princemin Corporation, and Unitop General Merchandise Inc.
Meanwhile, seven branches of Philippine Seven Corporation (7Eleven) in Cagayan de Oro City were the “Bronze Bagwis” awardees in Misamis Oriental. The following branches include the 1988 Petron Xavier, JR Borja, Bulua (Candida), Carmen (Vamenta), Nazareth, Jasaan (Centro), and Kauswagan (KHS).
DTI-Bagwis Program gives due recognition to establishments that uphold the rights of consumers while practicing responsible business where consumers get the best value for money. ♦
