A total of 148 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) join the webinar on data analytics. Department of Trade and Industry-Region 6 (DTI-R6) Assistant Regional Director Ermelinda P. Pollentes welcomed the participants and resource persons during the Webinar on Data Analytics for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) last 22 July 2021.No less than DTI Undersecretary of DTI-Competitive and Innovation Group (CIG) Rafaelita M. Aldaba shared how entrepreneurs should prepare for digital transformation and artificial intelligence technology. Sherwin Pelayo from the Trustee of Analytics Association of the Philippines discussed the significance of data analytics for MSMEs. Jonathan De Luzuriaga, who had been a partner of DTI-Region 6 in promoting information technology initiatives, also shared a message. De Luzuriaga is the President of the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA) and the CEO of Spring Valley Tech. Through this activity, MSMEs from Region 6 are expected to embrace information technology and maximize the potentials and benefits of data analytics through effective and efficient decision-making to improve their business operations.
