DTI-10 OIC-Regional Director joins the official ribbon cutting of the coffee postharvest facility in Pangantucan, Bukidnon.
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Region 10 OIC-Regional Director Ermedio J. Abang attends the official turnover of coffee postharvest facility to Portulin Talaandig Tribal Association (PTTA).

An Indigenous People (IP) group organized for the sustainability of its ancestral land is given a better chance of livelihood with a coffee postharvest facility.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Bukidnon through the Shared Service Facility (SSF) program of its Integrated Natural Resources Environmental Management Project-Livelihood Enhancement Support (INREMP-LES) 2 established and turned over a coffee postharvest facility to the Portulin Talaandig Tribal Association (PTTA).

The P1.02M project includes an all-weather solar drier, weighing scale platform, moisture meter, coffee depulper, and coffee dehuller. The new facility will benefit 120 farmer-members of the organization for the production of green coffee beans and roasted coffee and will also generate 135 direct and indirect jobs in the community.

The turnover was done on 23 April 2021 in Barangay Pangantucan, Bukidnon.♦
