
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bukidnon has turned over a P4.6 million shared service facility (SSF) to Bukidnon State University.
Advancing Research and Technological Innovation Fabrication Laboratory or ARTIFAB LAB was launched in Bukidnon State University on July 23, 2024. This is the third fabrication laboratory in Northern Mindanao.
The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with Flatbed UV Printer, 3D Printer, Digital Embroidery, and Direct-to-Garment Printer.

The Fab Lab aims to aid micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in wholesale and retail trade industries, manufacturing industry, small eateries and restaurants, and social and personal services; potential entrepreneurs and startup businesses; and students, faculty, researchers, and other members of the academe.
It is expected to assist more than 300 beneficiaries and generate sales of P6.6 million after one year.
“We commend the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in bringing this project to fruition.” DTI Region 10 OIC-Assistant Regional Director Almer Masillones said during her message of support in the launching of the facility.
“The establishment of the fab lab underscores the importance of collaboration between the government, academe, and private stakeholders in driving economic development in Bukidnon, and Region 10 as a whole.”
“We believe that Bukidnon State University plays a pivotal role in regional development by dedicating its efforts to technological advancement and innovation.”

SSF is a flagship program of DTI that aims to improve the productivity and efficiency of MSMEs through better access to technology under a shared system.♦
