The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) continues to work together with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to encourage entrepreneurship among overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and to help them find other sources of income upon their return to the country by starting a business.

This partnership is implemented to support joint programs, projects, and services as part of the Reintegration Program for OFWs.

DTI Region 10 (DTI-10) conducts the entrepreneurship seminar every Friday at the OWWA Cagayan de Oro Office in Trinidad Building, Yacapin Street, Cagayan de Oro City. Limited seating capacity is being accommodated in observance with the social distancing and minimum health protocols.

The seminar includes topics on what it takes to be an entrepreneur, its benefits and advantages, viable business opportunities, and personal entrepreneurial competencies.

For more information or to join the seminar, visit the OWWA office in Cagayan de Oro City. ♦
