NORTHERN MINDANAO –Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Camiguin officially launches its first One Town, One Product (OTOP) Philippines Hub in Poblacion, Mambajao, Camiguin on January 26, 2024.
OTOP Hub is a marketing vehicle and incubation platform that promotes local products of MSMEs assisted by the OTOP Program.
The newly launched one-stop shop intends to make high quality Camiguin-made products more accessible to the public, especially the tourists. It features over 50 food and non-food products from 21 MSMEs in the province.
OTOP Hub Camiguin-Sabroso offers an extensive selection of food products including a variety of snack items and delicacies such as piniato, banana chips, ampao, and more. Pastries like cheese sticks and chantilly bars are also available. The store additionally offers a range of chocolate products and coffee beans.
Shoppers can also browse non-food items such as handicraft bags, accessories, home essential, and more.
The OTOP hub is operated by Sabroso Pasalubong Store, a local manufacturer known for producing artisan chocolate products made from 100% pure cacao beans.
The OTOP Hub Camiguin-Sabroso is the tenth OTOP Hub established by DTI in Northern Mindanao. ♦
