Koronadal City, South Cotabato – DTI 12 successfully conducted a webinar on digital finance and online scams.

In celebration of the World Consumer Rights Day last 15 March 2022, DTI 12 conducted a regionwide webinar in line with the theme “Fair Digital Finance”.

A total of 300+ consumers participated via online and physical venues in General Santos City and Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat.

The resource speakers were from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), PNP Anti-Cybercrime Unit, and DTI Consumer Protection Division who lectured on Digital Finance, Online Scams, and Consumer Act of the Philippines, respectively.

DTI 12 aims that these information will empower the consumers and protect them from deceptive and unfair business practices such as online scams.
