We are thrilled to announce that out of a hundred outstanding employees at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2, five remarkable individuals have been honored and recognized during the prestigious DTI Mythical 5 Pinning Ceremony for 2020 on 21 July 2023 through a hybrid setting.

This undertaking is part of the Department’s program to recognize outstanding employees through the System on Performance Rewards and Incentives (SPRInts)-Huwarang DTI 2020. Qualified employees for the program include all officials and employees from the 1st level positions up to the 3rd level positions in the agency.

After going through a rigid screening process and careful deliberation of the SPRints Committee, the following Mythical 5 awardees of the DTI Region were recognized:

  1. Ms. Mary Ann C. Dy, CTIDS / OIC Provincial Director
  2. Mr. Randolph B. Cacacho, SVTIDS / OIC Division Chief
  3. Ms. Shiela A. Nera, STIDS
  4. Mr. Serafin C. Umoquit, TIDS
  5. Ms. Nerissa Mariz A. Zalun, AA VI

This event was conducted simultaneously in all DTI offices nationwide via Zoom and streamed via Facebook Live and Youtube channels.  The awardees were accompanied by their special guests or sponsors to administer the pinning ceremony.

The SPRInts program serves as an annual tribute to those who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to public service. It aims to inspire all DTI employees and officials to uphold the highest standards of performance and ethics. By providing motivational incentives, the program seeks to enhance their competence, while shining a spotlight on their outstanding achievements.
