The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 provided temporary shelter to Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) frontliners to extend assistance to nurses and other medical professionals serving during the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) period. CVMC is one of the designated COVID-19 treatment facilities in the region.
The DTI R02’s dorm facility is temporarily converted into temporary shelter which has two (2) big rooms that can accommodate up to 20 pax.
As of 03 April 2020, eight (8) frontliners from CVMC have been accommodated in the facility. As part of the facilitation, a gate pass is being issued by the CVMC Head Nurse to frontliners who will occupy the dorm and a No gate pass no entry policy is being imposed.
DTI R02 Regional Director Leah Pulido Ocampo said that DTI R02 will always find ways to extend necessary assistance to the public as its share in the fight against COVID-19.
Meanwhile, 15 gallons of alcohol were also donated to CVMC. DTI R02 Assistant Regional Director Ruben Diciano spearheaded the delivery of donated items. ARD Ruben also supervises the temporary shelter offered by DTI.
DTI R02 Regional Office is located at Regional Government Center, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, just nearby the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC), one of the designated COVID-19 treatment facilities in the region. ♦
