The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 Cagayan, conducted a Business Education and Advocacy—briefing on fair trade laws, in the island municipality of Calayan on 18 May 2022.

DTI R2 Cagayan Consumer Protection Division (CPD) Chief Lourdito Antonio conducted the briefing on Fair Trade Laws for the retailers/business owners and some MSMEs. Among the topics covered includes business name, labelling, price tags, price act, and product standards.

DTI R2 Cagayan Provincial Director Henry O. Conel, Jr., emphasized to the participants the importance of knowing and complying with the Fair Trade Laws. He highlighted the different services that can be availed from the agency and encouraged them to seek assistance from DTI through the newly launched Negosyo Center. ♦
