This is in partnership with the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency. The objective of the activity is to orient contractors and CPD focal persons on business resiliency in the present context. Regional Director (RD) Leah Pulido Ocampo emphasized the necessity of the event in her opening message.

“This webinar is dedicated exclusively for contractors. We in DTI are mandated to enable businesses whatever the circumstances are, we continue to create an environment where businesses may thrive continually and resiliently. We recognize that you are our partners in nation building and that you play a very important role in providing employment and continued economic activity especially during this time of pandemic,” RD Ocampo said.

“Aside from threats of the COVID-19, contractors are also vulnerable to threats in relation to peace and order. A discussion on safety measure against security threats is therefore necessary in order to protect your businesses from possible unscrupulous activities,” she said.
