ANTIPOLO CITY – DTI-Rizal actively participated in the 2023 Negosyo Forum themed “Antipolo City, Resilient and Vibrant! Facing the Challenges,” organized by the City Government of Antipolo through the Antipolo Trade and Investment Promotions Office (ANTIPO) under the leadership of Ms. Amalia A. Engalla.
The event saw a diverse audience, including members of the Antipolo Investment and Incentive Board, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Antipolo members, led by President Meliton Oliver Darvin, and representatives from various government agencies such as DTI, IPOPHIL, and DOST. The forum was graced by Couns. LJ Sumulong and Angie Tapales.
Highlights of the event included presentations on key topics aimed at empowering the business community. Engr. Karl Lyndon B. Pacolor, DTI Competitive Innovation Division Chief, presented insights on the RA 11293 Philippine Innovation Act, shedding light on its implications and potential benefits. Mr. Joel Caalaman, IP Field Operations Specialist of IP Satellite Office-CALABARZON, provided valuable insights into understanding intellectual property. Additionally, Negosyo Center Antipolo Business Counselor Daryl Andres presented DTI-Rizal’s Business Development Assistance and Initiatives for MSMEs.
The Negosyo Forum served as an avenue for valuable discussions and exchange of insights, further fostering collaboration and innovation in support of Antipolo City’s resilience and vibrancy in the face of economic challenges. ♦
