RODRIGUEZ, RIZAL — Last September 20, 2023, the Department of Trade and Industry – Rizal Provincial Office attended the Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) meeting held at the Conference Room, Municipal Hall, Rodriguez, Rizal.

The council tackled the different agendas like duties and functions of the council, proposed mechanics for the protection of consumers, and recommended penalties for illegal price manipulation. On the current issue, LPCC is looking forward to intensifying the price monitoring for regular and well-milled rice to ensure compliance with EO 39 “ Imposition of Mandated Price Ceiling on Rice”. The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) takes the initiative to update and validate the list of retailers in Rodriguez, Rizal.
