In celebration of National Women’s Month and in steadfast support of the EQUAL: Empowerment, Quality, Unity, Advocacy, and Leadership in Gender Development movement, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) R2-Isabela Provincial Office, in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office II, conducted a Gender Sensitivity Seminar on 15 March 2024, at the DTI R2 Isabela Provincial Office, Alibagu, City of Ilagan, Isabela.
Mr. Ronald R. Dancel, CSC R2 Acting Chief Human Resource Specialist, expertly led the seminar with dynamic and engaging discussions. The participants actively engaged in the activities and gained valuable insights into the importance of gender awareness, not only within the workplace but also across broader societal contexts. Mr. Dancel’s initiatives have sparked a wave of consciousness, emphasizing the transformative power of gender sensitivity in creating inclusive environments in workplaces, public spaces, and society as a whole.
Through this empowering movement, the DTI R2 Isabela Provincial Office reaffirms its commitment to championing gender equality and fostering a more inclusive and empowering environment for all. This seminar serves as a powerful testament to its ongoing dedication to effecting positive change and advancing gender equality throughout the province.
Moreover, the EQUAL movement serves as a beacon of unity with this year’s National Women’s Month, echoing the resounding theme “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!”. This theme encapsulates the collective journey toward a fairer society, spotlighting the resilience and capabilities of women as indispensable drivers of progress. The seminar marked a significant step towards promoting gender equality and inclusivity, setting a precedent for transformative action in the workplace and beyond.
