The Department of Trade and Industry Region 02-Quirino Provincial Office reinforced its support for the local government units (LGUs) in Quirino Province to enhance their competitiveness in government efficiency, economic dynamism, infrastructure, resiliency, and innovation thru the Feedbacking Sessions conducted on 15-17 April 2024.

The objectives of the different sessions are to discuss the results of the 2023 CMCI Survey, identify areas for improvement, and challenges in data gathering and encoding, as well as to determine possible solutions.

The activity was supported by the Provincial Government of Quirino, headed by Gov. Dakila Carlo Cua, the different Municipal CMCI Technical Working Groups, and the Department of the Interior Local Government – Quirino.

Hon. Mayor Jerry T. Agsalda, LCE of Aglipay, affirmed the importance of the activity by saying that it will really help their municipality to improve their ratings and possibly position them in a better ranking this year.

Through a comprehensive review of the 2023 CMCI Survey results, these sessions have provided a platform for meaningful discussions and formulation of strategies to contribute to the sustainable growth and competitiveness of Quirino Province.
