The eighth Negosyo Center launched in Nueva Ecija recently opened in the municipality of Llanera. The launching of the Negocenter – Llanera was part of the week-long celebration of the 62nd founding anniversary of Llanera.

The ribbon cutting was led by no less than Secretary Rafael Mariano of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). Secretary Mariano was the special guest during the opening program of the founding anniversary celebration. He was assisted by Llanera Mayor Ronnie Pascual and DTI Provincial Director Brigida T. Pili. Also present to witness the blessing of the center and unveiling of the signage were the Sangguniang Bayan members who came in full force. Other attendees included members of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council, department heads, other invited guests and Llanera employees. A signing ceremony was also held for the Memorandum of Agreement between the DTI and the LGU for the operation of the Negosyo Center.

During the opening program held at the municipal gymnasium. PD Pili expressed her gratitude to the municipality of Llanera, through Mayor Pascual, for allowing the establishment of the center ahead of other growth centers in the province. She said that through the center, people can access government services especially those who are willing to engage in business and even those already existing. She then presented the services provided by the center, which include – assistance on business registration, provision of business info, business advisory and monitoring and evaluation. She encouraged those present in the program to access the services of the center, support it to be operational. Dr. Rey Arimbuyutan, chairperson of the Nueva Ecija SME Development Council, also expressed his gratitude to the DTI and the LGU for the establishment of the center. As chair of the SMEDC, he committed to support the center and encouraged the members of the SMEDC to do the same.
