The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon Provincial Office, through Negosyo Center (NC) Gen. Nakar, in partnership with the Barangay local government unit (LGU) headed by Barangay Captain Pascual Adornado, launched the Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) in Barangay Maigang, General Nakar, Quezon. This program intends to provide broader economic development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people. The purpose of DTI campaigns is to increase MSMEs’ knowledge of DTI’s programs and services for business owners and consumers.

As a result, Business Counselor Nanette Tan invited the Maigang barangay officials to attend the seminar to learn about the DTI’s functions, programs, services, and other pertinent information, which they may distribute and pass on to their constituents thanks to the platform they have. Officials from the barangay were present. The MSMEs in the barangay’s selected recipients will get their various livelihood kits to aid their expanding enterprises. The remaining participants were given informational and educational materials about DTI programs and services as well as hygiene kits that included alcohol and a facemask.
