The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon Provincial Office, in collaboration with the Philippine Port Authority-Port Management Office Marinduque-Quezon (PPA-PMO MarQuez), conducted the Business Linkaging and Opportunities Presentation on SLEX TR4 Development in Quezon at the PPA-PMO Marquez Conference Room, Lucena City.

Atty. Francisquiel O. Mancile, Port Manager of PPA-PMO MarQuez, gave the welcome message followed by the opening remarks of PD Julieta Tadiosa, Provincial Director of DTI Quezon. The presentation of the PPA’s programs and projects was discussed by Engr. Joel Gamet, PSD Manager of PPA-PMO Marquez. He emphasized the competitive edge of Lucena Port and the business opportunities available in the area. Engr. Dan Lester T. Lagsit of DPWH Quezon District Office II, presented the SLEX Tr4 Project status. An open forum was followed and was actively participated in by the attendees from the Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Quezon Chapter (PCCI-Quezon), Quezon Federation, and Union of Cooperatives (QFUC), and Lucban Genesis Transport Service & Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LGTSMPC).

Ms. Anna Marie V. Quincina, Division Chief of Business Development Division of DTI Quezon, summarized the next steps and agreements derived from the open forum. To conclude the activity, Ms. Mylene S. Redor, President of PCCI-QPI, gave the closing remarks.
